The Research Institutes of Sweden (RISE) is a state-owned research institute that collaborates with universities, industry, and the public sector to drive innovation and ensure the competitiveness of Swedish businesses on an international level. Within the BIOSAFIRE project, RISE will leverage its expertise in fire safety to develop flame retardants. This involves conducting fire testing for both development and final evaluation stages, covering the marine demo, home appliance demo, and wood coating demo. Additionally, RISE will utilize its knowledge in durability, SEM/EDX analysis, and leaching of compounds in wood to support the project.
